American Millennium Corporation Announces ``Around-the-Clock'' Enhanced Notification Service for its Customers.

MOUNT DORA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 16, 1999--American Millennium Corporation, Inc. (AMC) (Nasdaq OTC:AMCI) announced today that it has implemented use of an enhanced service to notify its customers of conditions or changes in the status of the customer's asset being monitored.

AMC Chairman and CEO Stephen F. Watwood noted that the company has recently installed its satellite "subscriber communicators" on numerous natural gas compressors and oil wells for various customers in Southwest Texas and New Mexico. "With AMC's new 24/7 service, an operator from the call center can place a telephone call, send a page, or send a fax to our customers to alert them to a gas compressor shutting down unexpectedly, or any other data that has been pre-arranged on a need-to-know basis. Each notification sequence can be customized to the individual customer's requirement," he said.

In detailing how important this latest service feature can be to an AMC customer, Watwood gave the example of a gas well technician who wishes to be paged when a gas compressor shuts down or starts up. "In a simple `running' or `not running' application, AMC can send a numeric message to a pager that lets the technician know that a gas compressor has either just shut down or started up. The identification of the compressor, status, time of day, and date are also included in the message. If the technician wants to confirm acknowledgement of the page, we can send the page every fifteen minutes until the technician calls an 800 telephone number provided by AMC to confirm receipt of the page," Watwood stated. "This is a big breakthrough for a technician who either doesn't have access to a computer for whatever reason or doesn't even use a computer in the day-to-day routine of keeping tabs on an oil or gas well," he added.

In this application, according to Bruce R. Bacon, AMC's Vice President of Engineering and Chief Technology Officer, if no acknowledgement is received within a specified time frame, a notification operator can intervene and start down a call list furnished by the customer. Certain customers may want to be notified by an operator only when an alarm condition exists. Those customers can, at any time, get a complete history of their assets from an AMC supplied web page.

Watwood also stated that plans embraced by AMC call for upgrading the Internet platform of notification currently being utilized by the company. "All AMC subscribers will soon have their own web page with the historical data of each asset being monitored. Data tables, maps, and user friendly graphic illustrations will be designed for each customer," added Watwood.

The company also stressed that tracking for mobile assets can be accomplished with the assistance of operators in the control center. The operator can "pull up" a map of the asset location and relay this information to the customer, thus eliminating the need for immediate access to a computer. The customer will have the ability to request that the operator "ping" (or query) the monitoring equipment at the asset site for current conditions.
