A single SAM(TM) system (Satellite Alarm Module) has been monitoring the running condition of 3 gas compressors at a test site near Ozona, Texas. Cross Timbers has placed an initial order for 4 SAM(TM) systems for deployment into the field for day to day operation." The first of these 4 systems has already been installed and is currently operating onsite in Oklahoma. Two more units will be shipped to compressor manufacture Screw Compressor Systems (SCS) in Tulsa to be installed under AMCI's supervision. SCS will then install any future SAM(TM) systems for Cross Timbers directly at the SCS plant. The 4th SAM(TM) system installation will be a retro fit on an older compressor system in Arkansas. This will most likely be a totally self-contained solar powered package, according to Watwood.
