American Medical Systems Widens Its Lead in Women's Pelvic Health; Launch of InteXen LP(TM) Biologic Graft Adds Superior Characteristics to Market-Leading Surgical Solutions.

MINNEAPOLIS -- American Medical Systems Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMMD) announced today its early feedback from physicians on the clinical use of the recently introduced InteXen LP(TM) product. InteXen LP is a lyophilized porcine dermal matrix graft material for use in pelvic floor reconstructive surgery for stress urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse in women. This latest addition to the AMS product portfolio builds upon AMS' long held strategy of providing a breadth of alternatives to surgeons for their choice in meeting patient needs.
