American Management Systems Renews, Expands Agreement With CBT Systems.

Under the terms of the new three-year, $1.5 million agreement, AMS' more than 8,000 employees worldwide will have access to a broad selection of CBT (Computer-Based Training) Using the computer for training and instruction. CBT programs are called "courseware" and provide interactive training sessions for all disciplines.  Systems' technical courseware, covering topics such as Lotus Notes Messaging and groupware software from IBM Lotus that was introduced in 1989 for OS/2 and later expanded to Windows, Mac, Unix, NetWare, AS/400 and S/390. Notes provides e-mail, document sharing, workflow, group discussions and calendaring and scheduling. , Microsoft Windows NT, and programming languages such as C++ and Visual Basic.
