Katharine McPhee To Appear In Lonelygirl15 Episode on January 19th

Phenomenal Pop Star Joins Internet Phenomenon

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. -- Lonelygirl15, the pop culture phenomenon that has become the most watched/fastest growing/most talked about video blog on the internet by creating a new form of entertainment, online collaborative storytelling, will host its first guest star when American Idol's Katharine McPhee appears in an episode set to air on Friday, January 19th.

McPhee, a fan of the web-based series, approached the creators, Miles Beckett, Mesh Flinders and Greg Goodfried to see about participating in an episode. They wrote a special part with her in mind, opting not to cast her as Katharine but rather as a new character.
