AHA and QuadraMed Also Slated to Co-Sponsor Educational Webcast

on Compliance and Confidentiality Issues Related to HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act of 1996, Public Law 104-191) Also known as the "Kennedy-Kassebaum Act," this U.S. law protects employees' health insurance coverage when they change or lose their jobs (Title I) and provides standards for patient health,

QuadraMed's ComplySource is a management software tool consisting of three unique modules, which assess a hospital's current level of compliance. Based upon this assessment, ComplySource creates an action plan to decrease compliance risk. The software helps to quickly and easily document a facility's good faith effort in resolving compliance issues. The three modules of ComplySource include: Action Plan, Management, and Reference.
