American Homestar Corporation Announces Additional Retail Acquisitions in Its Deep South Region.

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 14, 1998--American Homestar Corporation (Nasdaq/NM:HSTR HSTR Harry S Truman National Historic Site (US National Park Service)
HSTR High Speed Token Ring ) today announced that it has recently completed the acquisition of three additional retail sales centers in Alabama and one in Mississippi. Terms of the acquisitions were not disclosed.

The acquisitions include the assets of Piggy-Bank Manufactured Homes, Mobile Marketing, Inc., and Hallmont Homes, and give the Company two new retail locations in Tuscaloosa, Alabama Tuscaloosa is a city in west central Alabama in the southern United States.
