American HomePatient completes 3-for-2 stock split.


BRENTWOOD, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 1, 1996--Edward K. Wissing, president and chief executive officer of American HomePatient (Nasdaq:AHOM), today announced the company has completed a 3-for-2 stock split dividend to be effected by issuance of one-half share for each one share of American HomePatient common stock owned by a stockholder as of the record date.

The stock split was effective with a record date at the close of trading on June 28, 1996, and will be distributed to stockholders on July 12, 1996.
