American Home Food Products Hires Leading Cheese Authority Max McCalman for its Artisanal Cheese Subsidiary.

NEW YORK -- American Home Food Products (OTCBB:AHFP), announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Artisanal Cheese, LLC has entered into an agreement with world-renowned cheese expert and author, Max McCalman, to serve as Dean of Curriculum of Artisanal. In his new role, Mr. McCalman will be responsible for overseeing the Company's selection of cheeses from around the world and the company-wide training of personnel and customers that resell the Artisanal line into foodservice and retail outlets. He will also continue his work as a leading writer, speaker and authority on artisanal cheese as part of a broader campaign by Artisanal to educate consumers on its brand of affinage cheeses. This new position will spearhead Artisanal's plans to launch a new business segment selling into gourmet and specialty cheese stores. Historically, Artisanal products have only been sold direct to consumers through its website and to premium foodservice outlets.

Mr. McCalman has been associated with Artisanal since its inception in 2003 as a local wholesale and gift basket business. Through his literary works as author of The Cheese Plate and CHEESE, a Connoisseur's Guide to the World's Best, Mr. McCalman has developed a reputation as one of the leading authorities on the subject of artisanal cheese, from its production to presentation in any setting. In his work with Terrance Brennan, founder of Artisanal and chef-proprietor of Manhattan restaurants Picholine and Artisanal Bistro & Fromagerie, he contributed to the opening of the first state-of-the-art cheese aging caves in New York City where Mr. McCalman oversees Artisanal's affinage process, a centuries-old method of aging cheeses to peak ripeness.
