Under the agreement, American Healthways will begin providing its entire suite of services to selected groups of members of Regence BlueShield, located in Washington, beginning March 1, 2004. The Regence Group provides health coverage for nearly 3 million members in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Utah. Under the terms of the agreement, all four Regence plans can opt for American Healthways' disease management, care enhancement and high-risk health management programs for their fully insured members, self-insured members or both.
