) today jointly announced a multi-year marketing partnership whereby American General will serve as sponsor of the WNBA. In addition to airing commercials on all nationally televised WNBA games, the company will also sponsor the American General Halftime Report. The WNBA enters its fourth season on Monday, May 29, 2000.

In addition, American General will gain advertising rights to the WNBA playoff and championship games and All-Star game logos and promotional items.
