Kane as president of AG Fund Group. Kane reports directly to John A. Graf, vice chairman and group executive - retirement services. AG Fund Group was formed earlier this year to manage American General's strategic partnerships with top mutual fund managers in order to leverage the company's scale, distribution and marketing strengths as an accumulator of assets. In commenting on the announcement, Graf said, "Alice's solid business acumen, her success in building mutual funds and her demonstrated leadership will position AG Fund Group to build on our core strengths and expand our product portfolio to meet the evolving needs of our customers. Kane, 51, most recently served as executive vice president of American General Investment Management, L.P., with responsibility for retail asset management.
