The Foundation is also used to promote education in coaching football at the youth, amateur and recreational levels and to promote and support amateur football at the secondary and collegiate levels of education.

The AFCF AFCF Advanced Fuel Cycle Facility (DOE project at Idaho National Lab)  is dedicated to furthering the education and support of football coaches everywhere. Not only are the coaches given a chance to support a foundation devoted to the betterment of all football coaches, but are given a never-before available opportunity to personally honor a coach who has influenced their life.

The Plaza of Influence is a special place where football coaches can be honored by those whose lives they have inspired. These coaches range from the obscure to the nationally known. The common bond is their profound influence on lives touched and changed.

The Foundation has already received tremendous support for this effort and is looking forward to the honoring of many more coaches for their impact on the lives of those around them.
