American Fire Retardant Corp. Begins Fire Protection Services for the Fresno Yosemite International Airport.

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 2, 2002

American Fire Retardant Corp. (OTCBB:ARFC), a fire protection company that specializes in fire prevention and fire containment announced today that the company has been begun fire protection services for the Fresno Yosemite International airport located in Fresno, Calif.

"While we eagerly await the launch of '3-in Hero' with fyberix2000-V(TM), we are steadily increasing the industrial side of our business," stated American Fire Retardant Corp. President Stephen Owens.

"American Fire Retardant's goal objective concurrent to building shareholder value is to achieve industry dominance with our products and technology in North America and abroad," added Owens.

According to the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) a fire occurs somewhere in the United States every 18 seconds, resulting in an injury every 23 minutes and a death every 130 minutes.

In addition to this flame-retarding fabric product, it is also a disinfectant that inhibits bacterial, viral and fungal growth, and finally it is a soil and stain release. Each 16-oz. aerosol can is able to cover up to 40 square feet and is non-toxic and earth friendly.
