Ira H. Wheeler has, for the last two decades, held "ownership and systems/technology positions" in the manufacturing and service industries. After six years of developing and implementing automated test systems for Lear Manufacturing, Mr. Wheeler became Vice President of Research and Development for an Infra-Red systems manufacturer, Dyn-Optics. His responsibilities covered all aspects of IR, from heat sensing, to process control, and wireless communications, with full responsibility for all projects, including implementation and operations. This dual responsibility for technology and operations became the springboard for a new company, ISDI ISDI International Special Dietary Food Industries

, formed by Mr. Wheeler and several partners.
