SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 12, 2002

American Fire Retardant Corp. formerly (OTCBB:AFRC) today announced that the company's stock trading symbol has changed to (OTCBB:AMFR).

A 1:10 reverse split also went into effect today. The reverse split was approved by shareholders at the company's annual meeting in May.
