American Fire Retardant Announces Successful Testing of Glove Box.

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 3, 2003

American Fire Retardant Corp. (OTCBB:AFRR) announced today that the Glove Box(TM) successfully completed its first field testing. As a result of those tests, it is being redesigned to be a portable unit rather than wall-mounted. It is being redesigned now and the first four portable units should be ready for field testing in three months. Glove Box(TM) is a device for use in high technology facilities, medical facilities, doctors' and dentists' offices. It allows the technician, practitioner or healthcare worker to don the various sizes and styles of currently available gloves without touching the outside of the glove, thereby preventing possible contamination of the gloves' exterior surface.

Stephen F. Owens, President of AFRC, says, "There have been demonstrations of the Glove Box(TM) with several groups, the most noteworthy being a large distributor of medical supplies from Mexico and an Asian group of distributors. After the demonstrations, both of these groups expressed an interest in distributing the Glove Box(TM) in their respective countries.
