American Fire Retardant Announces Glove Box Prototype Ready.

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 4, 2003

American Fire Retardant Corp. (OTCBB: AFRR) announced today that a working prototype of the Glove Box(TM) has been completed and successfully tested in the laboratory. The engineers in the laboratory are now building four additional working prototypes for Beta testing in the field.

Stephen F. Owens, president of AFRC said, "The engineers have done a great job in completing and successfully testing this first working prototype. They are now proceeding on producing four more prototypes for sending into the field for testing. We anticipate that this will be very successful and hope to start receiving orders this year. Of course, this is just one more safety item in our inventory of safety-related items."
