American Feed Industry Association (AFIA).

Mike Horn, president and CEO of Pennfield Corporation, Lancaster, Pa., is named chair-elect of the Board of Directors of the American Feed Industry Association (AFIA). In May 2006 he will succeed Robert Gallaway, Ridley Inc., as board chairman. Horn has been with Pennfield Corporation, a fourth-generation family business, since he was a teenager. He has worked in and managed every area of the feed business from feed manufacturing and delivery to purchasing, sales, service and marketing. His knowledge of the feed business is enhanced through leadership of the Ritter Food Service Division of Pennfield, a center-of-the-plate protein supplier to restaurants, hotels, retail stores and farm markets.
