American Farm Bureau Federation joins happiest place on earth. (FYI News & Notes).
The American Farm Bureau Federation, Park Ridge Park Ridge, city (1990 pop. 36,175), Cook co., NE Ill., a suburb adjacent to Chicago, on the Des Plaines River; inc. 1873. It is chiefly residential. Several national and international corporations have their headquarters in Park Ridge. Nearby is O'Hare International Airport., Ill., is the newest exhibitor at Walt Disney World's Epcot, Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The Beautiful Science exhibit at Innoventions in Epcot came to Farm Bureau courtesy of Monsanto Co., St. Louis. The exhibit provides guests with an interactive look at agriculture biotechnology and its impact on our lives. "Innoventions is a perfect venue for Farm Bureau to share information on the exciting advancements in agriculture science and how today's farm family is using these advancements on their farm," says AFBF AFBF - American Farm Bureau Federation (Farm Bureau) president Bob Stallman. Farm Bureau will work to enhance and expand the exhibit, giving visitors a look at the science and technologies used by modern-day farms to protect the environment while providing a safe and abundant supply of food, fiber and fuel.
