American Express and AOL Time Warner Announce Multi-year Strategic Alliance to Showcase American Express Products Across Multiple AOL Time Warner Properties, Increase Card Usage and Expand Rewards Redemption Options.

See Alpha. ) today announced a strategic, cross-platform marketing alliance to promote multiple American Express products across a wide variety of AOL Time Warner assets, increase American Express(R) Card usage and acceptance, and expand redemption options for the American Express Membership Rewards(R) program.

The multi-year alliance will showcase the power of the American Express brand and the breadth of the company's products and services. Working together, the two companies will develop new and innovative content and distribution channels for American Express marketing and advertising initiatives across a wide range of AOL Time Warner media properties, including Turner television networks, Time Inc. publications, Warner Music Group Warner Music Group (WMG) is one of the four major record labels.

Warner Music Group also has a publishing arm, Warner/Chappell Music, which dates back to 1929, when Jack Warner, president of Warner Bros. Pictures Inc.

The new alliance consolidates previous long-standing agreements between a variety of American Express and AOL Time Warner divisions, while significantly expanding the companies' relationship through the development of a series of innovative advertising and event marketing programs using AOL Time Warner's on-air, print, online, and music and entertainment assets.

Consumers can expect to see advertising featuring American Express in television advertising across Turner television properties which may include CNN CNN
