DE C.V. announce the launch of Travel + Leisure en Espanol.

The first issue, October 2002, is scheduled to be on newsstands in late September with an initial distribution of 120,000 copies and an equivalent cover price of between US $3.00 and US $4.00 based on local currencies. Travel + Leisure en Espanol will be sold in 17 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean, including major markets such as Mexico, Chile, and Argentina, as well as Puerto Rico Puerto Rico (pwār`tō rē`kō), island (2005 est. pop. 3,917,000), 3,508 sq mi (9,086 sq km), West Indies, c.1,000 mi (1,610 km) SE of Miami, Fla.  and selected Spanish-speaking areas within the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area. .

 has been named editor in chief of Travel + Leisure en Espanol. Most recently, Mr. Ales was editor in chief of Men's Fitness Men’s Fitness is a men’s magazine published by American Media, Inc. The premier issue featured Michael Pare from the television show, The Greatest American Hero.  en Espanol and editor in chief of Motor Trend en Espanol.
