American Express Introduces Financial Ed.

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 29, 2002

Financial Education and Planning Services unit

launches education program that asks,

"What kind of relationship do you have with your money?"

American Express American Express (NYSE: AXP), sometimes known as "AmEx" or "Amex", is a diversified global financial services company, headquartered in New York City. The company is best known for its credit card, charge card and traveler's cheque businesses.  Retirement Services' Financial Education and Planning Services group today announced the launch of Financial Ed.(SM) from American Express, a comprehensive, full-year financial education seminar program designed for employees of American American, river, 30 mi (48 km) long, rising in N central Calif. in the Sierra Nevada and flowing SW into the Sacramento River at Sacramento. The discovery of gold at Sutter's Mill (see Sutter, John Augustus) along the river in 1848 led to the California gold rush of  Express's corporate, government and union clients. Financial Ed. is a bundled program with quarterly topics that help employees better understand their relationship with money and improve their chances of achieving their personal goals. American Express teamed up with its retirement plan and financial education corporate clients to develop the program.
