")) Tuesday announced the completion of a four to one reverse stock split effective Feb. 20, 2000. Each of the company's and AESI's board of directors and a majority of the shareholders have approved the four to one reverse stock split after valuation discussions with its financial advisors. As such, the shareholders of record on Feb. 20, 2000 will be issued a certificate representing one new share of AE.com (Cusip No. 025655200) common stock for every four shares of NATD (Cusip No. 635641103) and AESI (Cusip No. 025655101) common stock held on the record date. Upon completion of the reverse split, the company will have approximately 2.25 million shares of common stock outstanding.

Example:

IF a shareholder owns 1000 shares of NATD common stock, the shareholder will be issued 250 new shares of AE.com common stock. Similarly, if a shareholder owned 1000 shares of AESI common stock, the shareholder will be issued 250 new share of AE.com common stock.

In making the announcement, Charles Broes, chief executive officer, noted that, "the completion of the reverse stock split in addition to planned future actions will generate broader interest from investors for our common stock."

In addition to the completion of the reverse stock split, the company and its management, legal counsel and outside auditors continue to work to file with the Securities and Exchange Commission the necessary documents to complete previous announcements.
