American Energy Production Inc. Announces Completion of FIVE SPOT Well Injection of AMEP HOA-800.

MINERAL WELLS, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 16, 2003

American Energy Production Inc. (OTCBB:AMEP) announced today the Company has completed the first FIVE SPOT well injection of AMEP HOA-800. This treatment consists of pumping AMEP HOA-800 into all four outside wells, breaking apart the sediment build-up around each well and then continuing to inject AMEP HOA into a center well, in theory moving the oil to the four outside wells to be pumped to the sales tanks. This pumping is done with the new portable pumping system AMEP recently completed. This trailer is equipped with a tri-plex pump that will allow injection pressures up to 1,000 PSI. The pump and holding tank is mounted on a gooseneck trailer, which allows mobile access to all of the oil wells that will be treated with AMEP HOA-800. Completion of the injection trailer will allow AMEP to continue with treating and testing of heavy oil wells on leases in Medina County, Texas, that have 193 oil wells capable of producing oil. American Energy recently announced the acquisition of these 193 oil wells.

The FIVE SPOT program oil wells are now circulating and results of the treatment and testing will be released in the next 7 to 10 days.

American Energy Production Inc. also used AMEP HOA-800 on an oil tank spill this last weekend in the north Texas area. The AMEP HOA-800 totally dissipated the oil spill in a matter of minutes eliminating the smell and allowed a very environmentally friendly clean up. More test on oil clean up are planned in the next few weeks with AMEP HOA-800.

The heavy oil additive AMEP HOA-800 is a viscosity and gravity-enhancing additive proven to be capable of modifying the reservoir fluid properties and enhancing the fluid flow characteristics. American Energy Production Inc. is the exclusive distributor for AMEP HOA-800 in Texas and has an option for the distribution rights in Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma and New Mexico.
