In October the AEA will be relocating to larger offices located on Lusk Boulevard across from the Ericsson Design Center. The change reflects the growth of the council, which is now over 175 members. The Council also announced that the successful Electronics Industry Recognition Week has been renamed to the High-Tech Industry Recognition Week. This year the event will be held on October 17th, 11:30am - 1:30pm at the Hilton Torrey Pines Hotel. Most people are surprised to find out that our largest segment of membership is software firms at 29%, said Carroll "the name change as well as several new award categories more accurately reflects our membership".
