) AMERICAN ECO CORPORATION announced record 1st Quarter earnings for the three month period ending February 29, 1996, soaring four times to US$1.8 million or US$0.20 per share, compared to US$483,000 or US$0.07 per share in the 1st Quarter of 1995. Revenues also surged four times to US$40.0 million for the 1st Quarter, compared to US$11.0 million in the 1st Quarter of 1995. This performance reflects the impact of spectacular growth combined with recent acquisitions.

AMERICAN ECO announced on March 14th, the acquisition of Environmental Evolutions, Inc., of Corpus Christi, Texas Corpus Christi is a coastal city and the county seat of Nueces CountyGR6 in the U.S. state of Texas.
