American Eagle Outfitters signs 10-yr. lease. (Retail New York).


Robert K. Futterman Associates (RKF RKF Rapid Knowledge Formation ) recently arranged a 10-year lease on behalf of leading lifestyle clothing retailer American. Eagle Outfitters for its first-ever Manhattan location, a new 10,000-SF flagship store at 575 Broadway in SoHo.

"American Eagle Outfitters selected the 575 Broadway location because of its surrounding retail neighbors," said Karen Bellantoni, managing director of RKF, who, along with RKF CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Robert Futterman represented the tenant. "With neighboring tenants on the block such as Prada, A/X Armani Exchange, Kenneth Cole Kenneth Cole is the name of:
  • Kenneth Cole (designer)
  • Kenneth Reese Cole, Jr., aide to Richard Nixon
  • Kenneth S. Cole, an American biophysicist
  • M. Kenneth D. Cole, who studied the effects of radiation on the human body as part of the Manhattan Project
, Express and Victoria's Secret, American Eagle Outfitters will be located in SoHo's most highly trafficked, top retail sales area.

RKF represented not only tenant American Eagle but also 575 Broadway landlord Peter Brant brant or brant goose, common name for a species of wild sea goose. The American brant, Branta bernicla, breeds in the Arctic and winters along the Atlantic coast. . CEO Robert Futterman and executive vice president Robert Cohen handled negotiations on behalf of Brant.
