Trellix will conduct the "train-the-trainer" course that will enable these CTCs to offer web site training courses for their constituencies, including the economically disadvantaged, the elderly and others who have not been able to participate in the digital revolution.

Organizations participating in the training include the Boston Public Library Boston Public Library, founded in 1852, chiefly through the gift of Joshua Bates. It is the oldest free public city library supported by taxation in the world. Its present building on Copley Square, designed by McKim, Mead, and White, was completed in 1895. , the Charles River Public Internet Center, Holyoke Neighborhood Network Centers, Morgan Memorial Goodwill, and STRIVE CareerPath. The event will be hosted by the Morse Institute Library in Natick, Mass.

"While the Internet revolution has opened opportunities for many, others have been left behind without access to the skills and training that would allow them to participate," said Kathy Spirer, Executive Director of the ACF. "This program will start a chain that will give hundreds of people the knowledge to create web sites quickly and easily."
