American Century Changes Names of Two Stock Funds.

Effective March 1, 2003, two of American Century Investments American Century Investments is a privately held investment management firm. Its headquarters are located at 4500 Main in Kansas City, Missouri, near the famous Country Club Plaza. It was formerly known as Twentieth Century Investments. The company was founded by James E.  equity portfolios will be renamed to better reflect their underlying investment processes and strategies. "Many investors interpreted Tax-Managed Value to mean the fund was a non-equity investment or produced lower returns because of the tax-managed aspect. However, the tax management aspect will remain an important part of the investment process."

In addition to the name change, the minimum investment into Capital Value will decrease from $10,000 to $2,500. The newspaper listing will change to CapVal; however, its ticker symbol Ticker Symbol

Managers Mark Mallon and Ritter have guided this portfolio since its inception, March 31, 1999.
