About the Water from Water Star Bottling Inc. and its Geyser Products Subsidiary

All of Water Star Bottling's products come directly from "The Geyser," as it was called by the early Western Wyoming pioneer settlers. The U.S. Forest Service sign nearby The Geyser site calls it "North America's Only Cold Water Geyser." No one really knows for sure what makes The Geyser flow on and then off in 18-minute intervals.

One thing is known for sure and that is millions of gallons of icy-cold, pure spring water flow from The Geyser each day. The town of Afton, Wyo. uses water from The Geyser and it is so pure that no chemical treatment or filtration filtration: see sewerage; water supply.

Jerry Ludeman, chief executive officer of Water Star's Geyser Products subsidiary and a 25-year consumer products marketing veteran, former PET foods executive and owner/executive of a national food brokerage network points out, "The federally registered aqua-colored bottle is a very valuable asset of the company. It's a real plus for our distributors and our brand."

Ludeman went on to add that, "Beverage purchases are typically `impulse buys' spontaneously made at the point of purchase. There is a very small window of opportunity to grab the attention of potential beverage consumers with so many products to choose from, so anything we can do to make our product stand out from the crowd is a real plus.

"Our aqua-colored bottle is unlike anything else on the shelf and definitely helps guide the consumer back to our products even if he or she doesn't recall the brand name. I have noticed that even small children who can't read will recognize a Fruit Geyser beverage just by the color of the bottle."
