American Businesses to Move Quickly to Color Printing; Survey Finds 75 Percent of Respondents Have Acquired or Plan to Acquire Color Printing Capabilities.

COLOR TAKES ON EXPANDING ROLE IN BUSINESS COMMUNICATIONS

The quality of its printed documents is an extremely important factor in establishing a company's professional image. The survey results show that respondents look for high-quality output when purchasing color printers, and almost two-thirds expect their need for color output to increase by at least 10 percent in the next two years.

In addition to quality, companies look for affordability and take into consideration the manufacturer's reputation when buying color printers. Another important factor for respondents was ease of use, with nearly three-quarters agreeing that a color printer needs to be user friendly.
