) has acquired all operations of CarpetMaster Cleaning (CarpetMaster), a major regional provider of janitorial and related services in Albany and the surrounding Capital District of New York.

The former owners and operators of CarpetMaster, Khalan and Jim Hennesey, will continue to manage the business for American Building Maintenance. Founded by the Henneseys in 1981, CarpetMaster's interior and exterior facility services include custodial care, carpet cleaning, construction cleanup, concrete sealing and landscaping, as well as around-the-clock fire and flood cleanup and restoration under the tradename of RestoreMaster. The business is headquartered in Cohoes, New York Cohoes is a city located at the northeast corner of Albany County, New York, USA. It is called the "Spindle City" because of the importance of textile production to its growth. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 15,521. .

ABM Janitorial Services operates more than 200 branch offices nationwide, serving 38 states and 36 of the 40 largest major metropolitan areas across the country.
