American Building Control Awarded EUR 2.5 million Judgement in France.

American Building Control, Inc. (Nasdaq:ABCX) announces that it has been awarded a EUR EUR

 2.5 million (approximately $3 million) judgement in a lawsuit filed by the Company in France against Aasset Security. In addition to the EUR 2.5 million judgement, the Company was also awarded interest, certain expense reimbursement Reimbursement

, and costs for the publication of the judgement in periodicals of its choice.

The Company filed the lawsuit in 2000 against Aasset Security for unfair competition. The Company is represented by French counsel on a contingency contingency n. an event that might not occur.  basis.

The Company is working through the French judicial system to pursue the recovery of the judgement but is unsure of the timing of collection. Aasset Security through its attorneys has indicated its intention to appeal the immediate enforcement ruling, as well as to seek a general appeal. The appeal by Aasset Security could result in a lengthy process, during which the judgement could be over-turned in whole or in part.
