American Building Control Announces a New Management Team for Its MDI Security Systems Unit.

LEWISVILLE, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 26, 2004

American Building Control, Inc. (Nasdaq:ABCX), a global provider of electronic systems and services for use in the security and surveillance industry, announces that J. Collier Sparks Sparks, city (1990 pop. 53,367), Washoe co., W Nev., just E of Reno; inc. 1905. The Southern Pacific RR was the major employer until the dieselization of railroad engines forced the closing (1957) of the railroad shops there.  has joined the Company as President of the Company's MDI (1) (Multiple Document Interface) A Windows function that allows an application to display and lets the user work with more than one document at the same time.  Security Systems and ABM ABM: see guided missile.

Mr. Sparks will report to Danny Mills Daniel John "Danny" Mills (born May 18 1977 in Norwich, Norfolk) is an English professional footballer, who currently plays for Charlton Athletic currently on loan from Manchester City. His main position is right-back though he can also play in central defence. , President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company.

The Company also hired Tim Rohrbach as its Vice President and Chief Technical Officer. Mr. Rohrbach was the Director of application development at Southern Steel, where he worked with Mr. Sparks. Prior to Southern Steel, Mr. Rohrbach worked at Dell Computer and, subsequently, owned and sold a successful network consulting business. He will advise the Company in its product development efforts as well as head up the information technology infrastructure. In addition, Mr. Rohrbach will be actively involved with the MDI and ABM business units. Mr. Rohrbach will report to Mr. Sparks.

In addition, the Company announces that Conrad Hartwig will join its MDI/ABM team as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Mr. Hartwig was most recently Vice President of Sales at GE Interlogix. He was the Southwest regional manager for Infographic Systems, which was acquired by GE Interlogix. Previously, Mr. Hartwig worked at Maris Equipment and ADT (Asynchronous Data Transfer) A transmission technique used in ISDN PBXs that dynamically allocates bandwidth. See also abstract data type.

 Security Systems. In all his prior endeavors, Mr. Hartwig established a proven track record of significantly increasing revenue based on adding new businesses. Mr. Hartwig will also report to Mr. Sparks.
