Mercy is a healthcare group which comprises 95 hospitals primarily located in the Midwestern United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. Product launch to all member hospitals will begin within 30 days and is to be completed over six months. Arthur S. Przybyl, VP of sales and marketing, stated: "This agreement is estimated to represent $250,000 per year in revenue to American BioMed. To date, the company has purchasing agreements with the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. Veterans Administration Hospitals, National Purchasing Alliance, Joint Purchasing Corp. and Mercy Resource Management. These agreements combined cover over 1,000 U.S. hospitals. This particular agreement has further significance in that it has put us ahead of schedule with respect to our business plan for fiscal year 1997."
