) today announced that the Mexican Ministry of Transportation has certified that the Company's Rapid Drug Screen(tm) on-site test for drugs of abuse is accurate and can be used as a qualitative on-site drug screen.

The certification follows a rigorous scientific study which was conducted by the Ministry's toxicology laboratory. The Company said that the laboratory's medical director is reporting results of the study in a Latin American scientific publication.

"Sales from Mexico have been increasing steadily due to our distributor's aggressive and successful efforts in both the governmental and corporate drug testing sectors," stated ABMC Managing Director of International Business John Huss. "We are honored by the Ministry of Transportation's certification which further confirms the accuracy and reliability of our uniquely easy-to-use on-site tests."

The Company's Rapid Drug Screen was originally approved and registered for sale in Mexico by the country's Ministry of Health in September 1997. Shortly thereafter, the Company appointed its Mexican distributor Laborotorios DEVOR, S.A. de C.V. which has been working with several government ministries, the state of Jalisco, and a number of commercial customers.

The Company also reported that it recently shipped a significant order of the Rapid Drug Screen to its Mexican distributor for use by the country's Ministry of Justice.
