Mr. Schuble has been a member of the American Bank Board since April 2003, and Mr. Bregman has been a member of the Bank Board since March 2002.

In announcing the resignations, the Company expressed its appreciation for the service and strong leadership afforded the Company by both Mr. Schuman and Mr. Kramer.

Mr. Kramer, a member of both the Holding Company Board and the Bank Board, was a member of the Holding Company board since inception, after having joined the Board of the Bank in 2002. He has been a valued member of both Boards.

The Company also announced the resignations of William Blanken and Stuart Kaufman from the American Bank Board of Directors. Both Mr. Blanken and Mr. Kaufman had been long time members of the board and served during the troubled period of the late 80's. Along with Schuman, they were integral to the successful rebuilding of the Bank during that period.
