American Apparel Launches Local Student Internship Program; Los Angeles Based Sweatshop Free T-Shirt And Apparel Company To Welcome Roosevelt High School Students And Parents.

In keeping with the company's proactive business practices the new internship program hopes to introduce local youth into the world of business that encompasses American Apparel's unique vertically integrated business model.

Originally twenty-seven students signed-up for the program; after the final round of interviews fifteen were selected from a cross-section of academic standing.
