American Angus Association. (Association News).


William D. Powell Jr. is retiring from the American Angus Angus (ăng`gəs), council area (1993 est. pop. 111,020), 842 sq mi (2,181 sq km), and former county, NE Scotland. Under the Local Government Act of 1973, the county of Angus became part of the Tayside region in 1975. Association, St. Joseph, Mo., after 23 years as regional manager for the Northeast territory. Powell began his career as secretary/ field man for the Virginia Angus Association. From there, he accepted a position as manager for Rea Ranch in Texas and field representative for the Drovers Journal and the Livestock Breeders Journal before joining the American Angus Association in 1980.
