American Access Technologies Inc. Approved for UL Listing of Exclusive Modular Telecommunications Products.


LAKE MARY, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 26, 1999--

American Access Technologies Inc., (Nasdaq:AATK AATK Always At the Keyboard ) announced today that Underwriters Laboratories Inc.(R) has approved for UL listing American Access' patented "slip-fit" Ethocom and Comdeck products, developed exclusively for a leading manufacturer of modular furniture systems, Herman Miller, Inc. (Nasdaq:MLHR)

"This is the last hurdle for this technology. Now, telecommunications and Herman Miller's modular furniture systems form a one-of-a-kind, total solution for cost-effective zone cabling," said American Access President John Presley.

American Access UL-approved modular telecommunications equipment, installed in Herman Miller furniture, is the latest in its line of zone cabling termination solutions, also installed in ceiling grids and in floor units.
