A former member of the Academy Board of Directors, Huntington serves on the Actuarial Board for Counseling and Discipline, where he served two years as its Chairperson. He has served since 1994 as a valuable member of the Academy's Council on Professionalism and currently serves as a member of the council's Joint Committee on the Code of Professional Conduct. Huntington graduated from the University of Michigan in 1964 with a BA in Mathematics and obtained a Masters' degree in Actuarial Science Actuarial science applies mathematical and statistical methods to finance and insurance, particularly to risk assessment.
