America West Teams Up With Cranium for Fun in Flight.


America West to Offer Cranium cranium: see skull.  Activities on All Video-Equipped Aircraft

PHOENIX, June 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- America West Airlines America West Airlines was one of the United States' ten major airlines. The airline was based in Tempe, Arizona, and is now a part of US Airways Group.

At the time of its integration into US Airways, the airline maintained two hubs, one at Phoenix Sky Harbor International
 , the nation's second largest low-cost carrier, today announced a one-of-a-kind partnership with Cranium, Inc., creator of the fastest-selling independent board game in history. This unique partnership offers passengers fun and innovative in-flight games on America West's video-equipped aircraft (All Airbus and Boeing 757 aircraft) reaching approximately 1.4 million America West customers each month.

The hour-long video format, launching June 1, will feature game activities such as word scrambles Scrambles is a game often played in British schools. Someone shouts "Scrambles!" and throws something (like sweets or money) into a crowd. The first person to retrieve the item wins it. , puzzles, factoids and code crackers, which come from Cranium's family board games: Cranium, Cranium Turbo and Cadoo. The program will be updated with new content each month.
