With the television networks scaling back their Election Night coverage this year, America Online See AOL.  is stepping up its coverage, offering up-to-the-minute, state-by-state election results and live reports and analysis from ABC's leading political reporters and commentators.

AOL's live coverage begins at 7:00 PM Eastern Time, November 3rd and will last into the early morning hours.

In addition to gaining quick access to results from across the country, AOL members will be able to discuss the election returns with live guests, including George Magazine President and Editor-in-chief John F. AOL will offer live interviews from Republican and Democratic National headquarters. AOL is also teaming with Digital City, its local content network and community guide, to provide live reports from the field in key races.

At the top of the 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM hours, AOL members will get live three-minute updates from ABC News. ABC's 10:00-11:00 PM coverage and its Nightline special will also be available on AOL.

All election results and programming can be accessed through the front screen of AOL's News Channel (Keyword: News or Keyword: Election Night).

Election results, commentary and analysis will also be available on AOL's Web site, AOL.COM, through My News. These results will be available to AOL members and the Web audience at large.
