: AOL), the world's leading interactive services company, and Financial Engines, Inc. today announced a two-year agreement to provide Financial Engines' sophisticated portfolio forecasting and personalized online investment advice to AOL's Personal Finance Channel -- ranked by Media Metrix as the No. 1 financial destination in cyberspace -- and Netscape Netcenter's Personal Finance Channel.

Financial Engines' Forecaster(SM) service will be available in the coming months to individuals tracking the more than 10 million portfolios through these AOL properties. Investors will get a free forecast of what their investments might be worth in the future based on Financial Engines' unique simulation technology. In addition, Financial Engines' Forecaster service will provide portfolio risk analysis for the millions of AOL members and Netscape Netcenter visitors.

The investor is then given a personal forecast showing the chance that he or she will reach an investment goal and the amount of money he or she will have if markets do poorly. In addition, investors are given access to portfolio risk analysis provided by Financial Engines.
