America Online, Time Inc. New Media Announce Agreement to Launch New Teen People Exclusively on AOL.


DULLES, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 19, 1997--

Launch of Teen People Online Tied to Major Publication

Launch in January 1998

New Magazine will Attract Today's 30 Million Teens

 online services division of America Online See AOL.  Inc. and Time Inc. New Media have announced an exclusive arrangement for the online version of Time Inc.'s new Teen People Magazine to be available only on AOL.

Teen People, which will launch together at the newsstands and online in January 1998, will have an anchor tenancy A situation that arises when one individual conveys real property to another individual by way of a lease. Teen People online will be an extension of the print publication, and will feature content exclusive to AOL members including a "Celebrities" area featuring multimedia slideshows, a "Real Teens" area showcasing the accomplishments of everyday young people, as well as advice columns, daily horoscopes, and chat and message boards. The agreement also calls for broad cross-promotion.
