As the definitive destination for impassioned U.S. soccer fans, Fox Sports World has launched the "America's Home of Soccer Sweepstakes," an online consumer promotion in conjunction with Major League Soccer that will score one lucky participant a trip to the Los Angeles Galaxy's inaugural game at the new Home Depot Center in Carson, California on Saturday, June 7. The sweepstakes is part of the network's initiative to encourage registration on its revamped web site, www.foxsportsworld.lycos.com, and to support its broadcast alliance with MLS.

To participate in the sweepstakes, all soccer fans need to do is visit the Fox Sports World Web site at www.foxsportsworld.lycos.com and register to enter. One grand prize winner will receive a trip for two to see the reigning MLS Champion Los Angeles Galaxy face the Colorado Rapids in the first match at the new Home Depot Center. The grand prize winner also gets a visit to the Fox Sports World studios to watch a live broadcast of "MLS Wrap," the network's weekly highlight show hosted by MLS veteran John Harkes and 2002 World Cup analyst Sean Wheelock, plus spending cash and merchandise. Five secondary prize winners will claim an MLS team jersey of their choice, in addition to a Fox Sports World soccer ball and cap.
