America's Next Top Administrative Professional Awarded at APC Conference.

In addition to national recognition, Gardner received a $3,000 scholarship for ongoing professional development and education, an all-expense paid trip to the 2006 APC event and an extended stay for two in Florida. Additionally, two runner-ups, Peggy Vasquez and Renee Adams, each received $1,000 scholarships and all-expense paid trips to the APC Conference.

Nominations for America's Next Top Administrative Professional were judged against several key criteria, including:

* Acting as a role model and mentor

In her role as Administrative and Events Coordinator for the Children's Museum of Indianapolis, Gardner is responsible for the day-to-day execution and management of the organization's daily activities, special events, and partnerships. Central to the museum's mission, Gardner's projects involve the relationship management and coordination of local, regional, national, and international artists and presenters. Her co-workers say that she embodies the museum's powerful mission "to create extraordinary learning experiences that have the power to transform the lives of children and families."
