Most regional parks still open for the season are operating on weekends only. However, some parks may alter operating schedules and hours this weekend, therefore guests should telephone in advance to confirm exact dates and time.

"The decision to open or close is up to each park and we support their decision whatever it may be. Some parks are also instituting programs to assist in the victim relief and recovery effort, and visiting a park this weekend may help in those efforts," said Lovejoy.
