America: no official religion.


We Americans have always taken pride in saying that despite the fact that the majority of the populace speaks English yet it is not our official language. Also, it is a fact that the majority of Americans are of the Christian faith, but Christianity is still not an official religion of the land.

This is not an anomaly Abnormality or deviation. Pronounced "uh-nom-uh-lee," it is a favorite word among computer people when complex systems produce output that is inexplicable. See software conflict and anomaly detection. . It is the beauty of our Constitution which has allowed us to be free-spirited and free-thinking people. Anything stamped "official" has always raised our suspicion and brings to mind the pictures of East Germany East Germany: see Germany. , North Korea and other repressive re·pres·sive

It seems that George W. Bush and his Religious Right group--see Rob Boston's "Judge Grudge grudge
